About Me
Based in Toronto, I’m a freelance writer with a passion for crafting compelling narratives that engage, inform, and inspire. With a background in journalism, corporate communications, and marketing, I bring a unique blend of storytelling expertise and strategic insight to every project I take on.
For more than a decade, I worked at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), where I honed my skills in writing, editing, research, marketing, and executive communications. From there, I decided to shake things up a bit. Always seeking new adventures, always up for a challenge, always ready to learn something new, I opened and operated a retail franchise for 10 years. This gave me unique insight into the Canadian retail and business environment, and the marketing required to succeed in this arena.
Meanwhile, I discovered a passion for health and fitness. More than a hobby, it became part of my identity. So much so that I cracked open the books and became a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach.
I’m always learning. I’m always curious. I’m always discovering. This is why writing appeals to me so much—it feeds these appetites.
